Research is one of the main avenues of CI activity. One of the leading think tanks in the Caucasus, the CI engages in political, social and media studies with a focus on both the South and the North Caucasus. Based on research results, the CI conducts expert and stakeholder consultations,
roundtable discussions and
conferences, and publishes
books and
online papers. Furthermore, the CI works closely with the news media by inviting media to all its events, holding press-conferences and giving interviews in an effort to popularize research results and promote wide public debate in Armenia and the entire Caucasus.
