The Caucasus Institute invites journalists, students and researchers to use its resource center composed of a library and electronic database. The CI resource center is open to the public Monday through Friday from 10 AM to 6 PM. All services are free of charge.
LibraryThe library has books in English, Russian and Armenian on topics relevant to the CI activities, such as media, journalism, area studies, political science, history, economics, conflicts, ethnic studies, nations and religion. There is a large assortment of manuals, reference books and guidelines targeted at journalists, media experts and writers. The library is regularly replenished with the most recent publications. It has a searchable electronic catalogue; books can be borrowed or read at the CI. The library subscribes to Armenian and Russian periodicals and maintains archives of previous years' issues.
In-house Electronic DatabaseThe database has been maintained by CI staff since 2001. It contains publications in Armenian and English on various topics relevant to the Caucasus, CIS and global issues. The database is updated daily. Users can access the database from the computers at the CI recourse center.
